This morning you'll depart from London Heathrow on your flight to Geneva. On arrival at Geneva you will travel by first class rail to Zermatt - a scenic three-and-a-half hour journey along the shore of Lake Geneva and onwards into the Alps.
In Zermatt, you will be met by your hotel valet, who'll take you to your five-star hotel. Zermatt is a charming town, compact and car free, nestled in the shadow of the Matterhorn mountain. You'll have some free time to settle into your room and perhaps begin exploring the local area.
Today, following breakfast at the hotel, you'll have a full day to enjoy Zermatt. This enchanting town lies at the foot of the Matterhorn, so you can enjoy fabulous views of this iconic peak as you explore the car-free streets lined with traditional wooden chalets, boutique shops and cosy cafes.
You'll also have a return trip on the Gornergrat Railway included today. From the carriages of this historic cog railway you'll be able to enjoy the most outstanding views of the famous Matterhorn at 3,089m above sea level.
Today you'll take an unforgettable ride on the 'slowest express train in the world' - the Glacier Express with lunch included on board.
This bright red train trundles at 24mph for 181 miles towards your base for the next three nights, St Moritz. At this pace you'll have plenty of time to take in the ever-changing scenery, including the magnificent Landwasser Viaduct, perfectly framed by the train's large windows.
On arrival in St Moritz you'll be collected by the hotel's chauffeur and travel to your hotel - the five-star Walshaus Sils Maria, perched above Lake Sils in a tranquil village, surrounded by peaks, forests and glistening turquoise waters.
This hotel is a real family-owned gem, and no two rooms are the same. During your time here you can join a guided hike with the hotel's own guide, use your included Engadin Pass to ascend the Corvatsch cable car for outstanding views of the Engadin Valley, or just kick back in the spa.
Today you have an included round-trip to Tirano and back on the glorious Bernina Express. Just as you'd expect from one of the world's most captivating Alpine landscapes, the 90-mile Bernina Express route offers views of glorious glaciers, dramatic mountains and breathtaking lakes.
You'll be spellbound as you watch the Swiss mountains, glaciers and lakes give way to Italian greenery. Some of the incredible experiences along the way include rolling over the UNESCO-protected Landwasser Viaduct and the impressive Montebello Curve, which offers a view of the Bernina massif, the Morteratsch glacier and the three lakes of Pitschen.
Today you'll have a day to spend exactly as you wish. Perhaps you'll wander into St Moritz and soak in the atmosphere of this luxury mountain resort town. Spend time wandering the elegant streets bordered with flowers, browsing the upmarket fashion shops, and dining in some of the town's excellent restaurants.
If you'd like a more active day, you can always explore the great outdoors with a long list of activities available in the local area. You spend the day hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, horse riding or kayaking through the incredible landscapes near your hotel, these are all payable locally.
Today, after a final breakfast at your hotel, you'll start your journey abck to the UK. You'll have a final chance to take in some glorious Alpine landscapes by train, travelling from St Moritz to Chur, then skirting the edges of Lakes Wellensee and Zurich, and finally pulling directly into the airport at Zurich for your flight home.
