Iso-Syote gets some of the heaviest snowfall in the region, making it one of the best places to enjoy snowy adventures like dog sledding and snowmobiling, traversing the rugged fells through snow-covered forests to frozen lakes.

You'll get to explore the awe-inspiring surroundings by snowmobile, husky sled and on snowshoes, and delve into Lappish traditions during a reindeer safari and an ice fishing trip, all accompanied by expert guides who can teach you more about this magical part of Europe.

You'll be based at the excellent Hotel Iso-Syöte, a boutique hilltop hotel where you'll enjoy incredible panoramic views of the snowy scenery. The rooms here are supremely comfortable, with plush bedding and large windows for admiring the snow.

You can choose to upgrade to a cabin, or suite or - for a real Arctic adventure - you can even stay overnight in a surprisingly cosy snow igloo. We are offering discounted rates for children, please call to find out more.

There'll be plenty of free time to enjoy the hotel's facilities, including a relaxed lobby bar, an indoor swimming pool with hydro jets, a sauna, Turkish steam bath and a hot tub - perfect for warming up after your snowy adventures.
