Discover the elegance of old Europe in luxury as you relax and replenish your mind and body on this 10-day trip

Travelling along the Danube allows you to see some of Europe's most romantic and elegant cities, such as historic Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest. On this 10-day trip, you'll discover the very best these places have to offer, all while travelling in complete luxury aboard AmaWaterways' AmaViola.

Starting in Vilshofen an der Donau (the Small City of Three Rivers), you'll also visit Passau and Linz and the musical city of Salzburg, plus explore the medieval Czech city of Cesky Krumlov. Melk's magnificent Benedictine abbey is also a must-see, then it's on to Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest.

Throughout your voyage, you'll find a choice of excursions in each city or you can just hop on one of the on-board bikes to explore the sights at your own pace. You'll also be able to take part in a tailored wellness programme, which you can dip in and out of as much as you wish to, ensuring you return from your trip refreshed and rejuvenated.

Wellness activities

During your river cruise, you'll have a dedicated wellness host to lead you through exercise classes as well as have discussions on healthy eating and relaxation techniques. On AmaViola, you'll be able to take full advantage of the pool (with swim-up bar), walking track and fitness room, which also offers massage services and a hair salon.

Award-winning dining

See historic cities your way

With complimentary bicycles on board, you have the chance to explore the towns and cities on guided bike tours, or discover them on your own.
