WHAT WE LOVE...

A stay in The Jockey Club means having access to a famous institution that used to only be open to members. It's a unique opportunity to experience a home-from-home, and a grand one at that, popular with royalty and historical legends alike. The walls are lined with fabulous paintings from Munnings - known as one of England's finest painters of horses - to more recent portraits, including the Queen; an avid horse racegoer and visitor to the Club. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful, and there are good places to dine nearby in Newmarket too. It's an ideal base for horse race enthusiasts but also anyone who loves elegant surroundings with a rich history.

Room two is on the ground floor and has a door opening onto the Club's manicured pretty walled garden. Its bathroom is incredibly spacious too - as big as the bedroom, it's a lovely bright and breezy space to soak in the bath and indulge in the Asprey toiletries.

Food & Drink

The breakfast room alcoves, with bench seats upholstered in green leather and a few fun equine paintings hanging behind you, are private and cosy, but still offer a nice view of the room.
