Stay at this quaint waterside hotel with unrivalled harbour views on the largest of the inhabited islands of the Isles of Scilly; The Atlantic sits at the water's edge, overlooking St Mary's harbour and Town Beach. Part of St Austell Brewery's pub estate, the centuries-old maritime-style inn fuses laidback comfort with traditional charm; at the hub of Hugh Town, it's an ideal base for exploring St Mary's and the neighbouring islands. Home to comfortable and contemporary rooms, along with a restaurant and sun terrace that gives you a front row seat to the spectacular coastline - it's a prime position, just two-minutes' walk from the bustling quay where you can pick up boats to the rest of the Scilly Isles.

Location
The Atlantic provides a superb base, right in the hub of the island. It's great to step out onto the paved streets at the centre of Hugh Town, minutes from the water's edge.
Hugh Street is home to shopping, restaurants and bars in the centre of St Mary's. Town beach is only a couple of minutes' walk away.
By plane: Skybus flights to St Mary's from Newquay (30 minutes), Exeter (1 hour) or Lands End (15 minutes). The hotel is a 5-minute drive from the airport.
By boat: the Scillionian III Passenger Ferry departs from Penzance (2 hours 45 minutes). The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the terminal.
Style & Character
Suited to those after a comfortable and low key base, at the hub of the island with heritage at the heart. The maritime décor - particularly the black and white images of historic sailing vessels - adds lots of brilliant character to the walls.
Service & Facilities
It's a joy to stay in the centre of Hugh Town and become immersed in island life, mingling with the locals and visitors to the island. The Atlantic has a selection of dog-friendly rooms available to book for an additional charge of £10 per night. Bowls, blankets and treats are provided and dogs are welcome to join you whilst dining in the bar area.

Waking up slow with an Atlantic Scillonian breakfast out on the terrace was a particular treat. The Atlantic's Seafood Sharer ticks all the boxes - mussels, fish goujons, smoked mackerel, salt & pepper squid, black tiger prawns and Atlantic prawn cocktail served with fries.
The Atlantic: pub and terrace, harbour views. Classics and modern cuisine, including scampi, steamed mussels and west country burger. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
