WHAT WE LOVE...
Nestled among trees, this redbrick 17th-century hunting lodge is packed with period detail and was once a favourite of King Charles II. Inside, the decor is contemporary and elegant with period touches, such as fireplaces and stained glass windows. Truly family-friendly, you can leave your young ones in the hotel creche while you make use of the Bath House spa, swimming pool and outdoor hot tub. Kids have their own snug zone with bean bags, games and movies. Opt for early family-friendly meal times, or dine in the child-free Stag restaurant, where you can enjoy bistro-style meals such as moules frites, or lamb shank shepherd's pie.

It's a luxurious, laidback hotel and spa in the heart of the New Forest, with wild deer and free-roaming ponies that come right up to the hotel doors.
The hotel is five minutes' drive from the centre of Brockenhurst, with its own grounds and the woodland of the New Forest surrounding it.
By car: it takes around 25 minutes from Southampton and 2 hours from London. The hotel offers free parking.

Sika has its own private rooftop terrace and the bathroom has a free-standing bath and rainfall shower. There's also a daybed that can accomodate a child. Rooms can come ready-equipped with things you need for the kids, including nappy bins and changing mats.
