Situated atop Richmond Hill, steps from world famous Richmond Park and surrounded by a medieval landscape, Richmond Hill Hotel is a tranquil out-of-town stopover combining traditional Georgian charm with modern elegance. Established in 1726, the four star townhouse hotel features chic bedrooms with original period features, an award-winning restaurant, a bar and al fresco terrace. Steeped in history and a favourite of royalty, senior politicians and many A-listers, the building is nestled in an idyllic landmark conservation area that's easily accessible from central London, Richmond town centre and Heathrow airport. Petersham Meadows is ideally located for a riverside stroll - if you're lucky you may also spot the visiting grazing herd.

By car: around 45 minutes from London, 2 hours from Bristol and 4 hours from Manchester. Parking costs £15 per day.
