WHAT WE LOVE...
This minimalist design hotel places sustainability at its core. Integrating with the natural environment and constructed using energy-saving techniques including solar and photovoltaic power, the building is made of wood and stone, with huge glass panels offering lovely views. It's decidedly contemporary, with two wood and glass buildings immersed in greenery. The uncluttered minimalist interiors create light-filled spaces, and natural materials are used throughout. In the honesty kitchen, guests can help themselves to a carefully thought-out selection of local produce and wines or, if you're after a heartier meal, head down to the hotel's sister restaurant by the lake. The leafy grounds are a lovely spot to sit back with a book in hand, and there's an itsy-bitsy swimming pool and personal spa with sauna and steam room, too.

You'll love the tranquil location. The hotel is set on a hillside in its own peaceful grounds, complete with deckchairs to sit back and soak up the views.
This hotel is in a peaceful spot on a quieter branch of Lake Como, set apart from most of the other hotels in the area.
By plane: there are direct flights to Milan Malpensa from London (1 hours 50 mins) and Manchester (2 hours 15 minutes). The hotel is about one hours's drive from the airport. On-site parking is €15 a day. skyscanner.net
