WHAT WE LOVE...
21212 provides a seamlessly indulgent experience in a quietly leafy yet central eastern New Town location. The four rooms tucked away up the elegant curving staircase of this classic Georgian townhouse are no afterthought, bringing the same playfully elegant style, consideration and wit Paul Kitching brings to the cooking in his restaurant. More like small suites than bedrooms, there are big, comfortable beds and indulgent bathrooms, comfy seating from which to consider the view and little treats to make you feel welcome. Of course, you have probably come here for a memorably delicious lunch or dinner, but the luxurious breakfast is no let-down either, and you're unlikely to miss the mini-bar when there's hot and cold drinks on demand.

We love being able to walk out on to Calton Hill for a 360-degree view of the city.
Close to Calton Hill and the Edinburgh Playhouse, the hotel is around a mile from the National Museum of Scotland and the Royal Mile.
By car: from Glasgow around 1 hour, from Newcastle around 2 hours 40 minutes and from Manchester just over 4 hours. A 24-hour multi-storey is a short walk away at Q-Park.
