There's a broad clientele - it's a good choice for those seeking a great central location and a laidback setting (and beers on tap on the ground floor). The original features such as the creaking floorboards have been retained, while oakwood beams add a warm and cosy touch.

There's a laidback feel and the staff are cheerful and friendly.

Pets are welcome, with beds and bowls provided. Dogs are allowed at the bar, but not at the restaurant. Head to Cirencester Park to take your pooch for a stroll.

We loved Room 1 - it's spacious and cosy, with sheepskin rugs, vibrant blue floral wallpaper and pops of orange here and there. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and rooms have a common thread thematically, although the design is not homogenous - each room has its own quirks and design.
