It was a complete dream to walk along the coast path to Pentire Point at sundown, and spot dolphins playing in the surf.
Situated on the Pentire Headland, explore the coastal paths and nearby Fistral Beach. Newquay is a 20-minute drive away.
By car: over 5 hours from London, under 3 hours from Bristol, and 5 hours 30 minutes from Manchetser. Free parking available.

Room 6 is a Superior Oceanside with breathtaking sea views across the Pentire headland, a huge stand-alone bath and calming coastal hues. Reading the Sunday papers to a backdrop of stunning sea views, before sinking into the large bathtub, made for an utterly relaxing afternoon.

Breakfast doesn't get much better than the continental plate, a showcase of local produce: Cornish Kern cheese, fresh fruit, a yogurt pot, toasted brioche and honeycomb butter.
